Customer Support & Training | Massachusetts, US Description MEDITECH's Professional Services team is designed to help our customers optimize and maximize their EHR. These professional services will complement the company's Expanse implementation program known as READY. Implementation Professional Services will include on-premise Project Management Leadership, Clinical and Financial Leads, and a full suite of Subject Matter Experts and Trainers who will provide guidance, oversight, and training during the Expanse (see application details) Clinical Lead oversees the implementation of multiple clinical and ancillary applications in the Acute environments and manages the integration between these modules and across the EHR within both the Acute and Ambulatory settings. As a member of our Professional Services team, your job would involve: Planning, design, and implementation of EHR software applications with a strong background of the clinical applications Overseeing all aspects of clinical projects, setting deadlines, assigning responsibilities, and monitoring and summarizing progress of projects Ensuring that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets Assessing and documenting current state, future state and gap analysis activities Conducting product training sessions along with the core team Building and maintaining working relationships with team members, MEDITECH implementation specialists, and other departments involved in the project; helping to review, research and prioritize any problems or issues Holding regular status meetings with their application teams Participating in decision-making and issue escalation processes Preparing and presenting reports for the Program Manager regarding the status of this focus area of the project Managing and monitoring conversion activities in addition to any related 3rd party or OV interface testing Travelling 80%, anywhere in the United States or Canada What You Should Have Bachelor's degree in a clinical or healthcare related discipline 5 years of experience implementing clinical applications 2 years of experience in a clinical setting Extensive knowledge of hospital/healthcare departmental processes Exceptional written and verbal communication skills Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment Ability to organize and analyze detailed information and present it in a variety of formats for business, executive, and technical audiences Excellent leadership skills and the ability to influence the actions of others and be decisive when needed Ability to effectively manage projects that may vary in nature and scope High level of initiative and the ability to work with minimal supervision In compliance with federal law, all persons hired will be required to verify identity and eligibility to work in the United States and to complete the required employment eligibility verification form upon hire.
