Summary: Veolia operates and maintains the City of Great Falls Wastewater Treatment Facility and associated Lift Stations.Job Summary: Inspects, maintains, repairs and installs mechanical, electrical and instrumentation systems,--equipment and fixtures.Essential Job Functions:* Inspects and troubleshoots mechanical and electrical equipment and fixtures using test--equipment, devices, non-intrusive technology and other industry related procedures;* Performs preventive, predictive and corrective maintenance on wwtp systems and--equipment;* Performs instrumentation and control-related activities specified by work order; and--installs new or replacement instrumentation and control systems, equipment, and support--systems;* Calibrates instrumentation using various meters and devices complemented with--necessary mathematical calculations to assure system accuracy;* Reports and documents results of inspections and work performed;* Performs other maintenance tasks as needed;* Contributes to evolution of mechanical / electrical / instrumentation maintenance tasks--within a CMMS application;* Assures work is performed in a safe and professional manner in accordance with relevant--building and electrical codes;* Performs cleanup and housekeeping tasks for work area, tools and equipment.QualificationsEssential Job Requirements:* High school diploma or GED;* Will be required to pass the Montana Class I Wastewater Certification test, complete Sacramento WW O&M Courses I & II and pass the in-house plant maintenance exam within two years of employment;* Ability to establish effective working relationships with other employees;* Basic knowledge relating to maintenance of pumps, compressors, and other equipment;* Demonstrated knowledge of National Electrical Code;* Requires working in outside and inside environments that have various climate and noise conditions;* Ability to work in various positions which require bending, walking, standing and sitting;* Ability to work on ladders, catwalks and supports at heights 50 feet above ground;* Must have valid driver's license;* Ability to read blueprints, sketches, wiring diagrams, basic ladder diagrams for controls, specifications and vendor instructions;* Ability to carry out verbal and written instructions;* Verified experience in mechanical and electrical construction and maintenance.All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability or protected veteran status.
