Job Description Job Description Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) Certification and minimum 2 years Surgical Tech / Operating Room Tech experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. This opportunity calls for a skilled Operating Room Technician (ORT) with a strong background in orthopedic and spine procedures to support a busy surgical team. The surgical department features 11 OR suites and a GI suite, managing 30 to 50 cases daily including total joints, spine surgeries such as TLIF, PLIF, decompressions, cervical fusions, as well as arthroscopy, hand, and foot cases. Expertise with Mako Robot or similar robotic technologies is essential. Qualifications & Experience: Minimum 2 years of recent orthopedic or spine experience, including total joints, spine procedures, arthroscopy, hand, and foot cases Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) credential required Active Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) Experience with Mako Robot or other robotic surgery programs strongly preferred Previous experience working with this healthcare system must be disclosed with an end date at least 6 months prior to submission, if applicable Responsibilities: Prepare OR suites for orthopedic and spine procedures, including cases involving robotic assistance Assist surgical team throughout procedures with a focus on orthopedic and spine specialties Adhere to strict infection control and safety protocols Badge in and out at the facility each shift Collaborate with multiple units as needed within the surgical department Follow dress code guidelines with scrubs provided on site Schedule: 10- or 12-hour shifts No weekend or on-call requirements Location Insight:Situated in the scenic region of Box Elder, South Dakota, this area offers a welcoming community environment with access to outdoor recreational activities and local amenities.
