The role involves providing direct and indirect patient care in the
emergency care setting. You will provide care that reflects

physicians, mid-level providers, allied health staff, and
healthcare professionals is vital. You will give direction to
emergency department techs, registration staff, and allied health
staff. You will receive direction from the Emergency Department
Director, physicians, mid-level providers, and the Director of
Nursing. Emergency Department nursing principles and procedures are
vital knowledge for this role. Basic office skills and basic
computer knowledge are necessary. IV skills and the ability to
operate manual and electronic medical equipment are required.
