Job Description Integrated Healthcare Services is seeking a
travel nurse RN Gastroenterology for a travel nursing job in
Billings, Montana. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty:
Gastroenterology - Discipline: RN - Duration: 13 weeks - 40 hours
per week - Shift: 8 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel Job
Summary: - Assesses, plans, implements, evaluates, and supervises
individual patient care in the GI Lab according to unit policies
and procedures. - Accepts the responsibility for the direction of
coworkers in the implementation of the care plan. - Performs other
duties as assigned. - The list below is also considered to be

Collects, analyzes, and organizes patient care data. - Applies
technical skills and experience to assess the patient's status and
needs. - Completed appropriate diagnostic techniques/tests to
ascertain patient's on-going condition. - Implements a plan of care
encompassing traditional and complementary therapies Performs the
necessary interventions. - Directs, instructs, and observes
patients and significant others in self-care/patient care or
understanding of information given. - Informs himself/herself of
physician's instructions or ancillary caregiver's observations or
concerns and takes same into consideration in providing appropriate
care. - Provides ongoing evaluation of patient's response to care
and revises the plan of care. - Keeps an accurate record of
patient's status and care dispensed. - Completes checklists, writes
clear narratives, and/or enters data onto computer files as
appropriate. - Ensures proper documentation for next shift and next
caregiver Follows-up on outstanding data or instructions. -
Completes proper teaching (instruction sheet), discharge planning
and outcome notes on patient. Required Skills & Experience: -
Medical surgical experience with strong emphasis on assessment
skills. Preferred Skills & Experience: - Endoscopy experience.
Required Education: - ASN - Graduation from an accredited School of
Nursing is required. Preferred Education: - N/A Required
Certifications & Licensure: - Current license as a Registered Nurse
in the state of practice is required. - BLS - American Heart
Association. - ACLS. Preferred Certifications & Licensure: - N/A
QUALIFICATION/LICENSURE Work Authorization : US Citizen Preferred
years of experience : 2 years Travel required : No travel required
