Summary Alluvion Health is seeking a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner
to join our integrated Behavioral Health team. The ideal candidate
provides comprehensive mental health care, including psychiatric
evaluations, psychotherapy, medication management, and
collaboration within a team-based care model. This position plays a
vital role in improving the mental well-being of our patients
through compassionate, ethical, and evidence-based care. Essential
Job Responsibilities Provide high-quality, compassionate, and
ethical mental health therapy to patients. Conduct psychiatric
evaluations and provide medication management. Collaborate with
patients, families, and integrated care team members to ensure
coordinated care. Complete timely documentation within the
electronic health record (EHR) system. Adhere to Alluvion Health
policies, procedures, and continuous quality improvement
objectives. Stay current with research and evidence-based best
practices. Maintain an active DEA registration. Work
collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary care team.
Participate in quality improvement initiatives, peer reviews, and
other evaluation activities. Flexibility to work varied hours as
needed. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Knowledge of: Psychiatric
disorders across the lifespan (children, adolescents, and adults)
Medication use, effects, and management Socioeconomic factors
affecting mental health Individual and family therapy methods
Skills in: Crisis intervention and varied therapeutic techniques
Independent work and time management Effective communication and
emotional sensitivity Ability to: Interpret and follow technical
and professional instructions Recognize and refer conditions beyond
scope to appropriate providers Manage life-threatening or emergency
situations appropriately Maintain professionalism, confidentiality,
and HIPAA compliance Work effectively with populations from a wide
range of backgrounds Adapt to change, manage competing demands, and
meet deadlines Collaborate within a team while maintaining
independence in clinical decision-making Education, Experience &
Certification Education: Master’s or Doctoral degree in Nursing
with a Psychiatric certification required Experience: One (1) year
of experience in a clinical setting preferred
Licenses/Certifications: Active Montana APRN license with
prescriptive authority Current DEA registration Valid Montana
driver’s license Computer Skills: Intermediate to advanced
proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook,
Access) and ability to learn Alluvion Health software applications
Language Skills Fluent in English with the ability to read,
interpret, and communicate complex information effectively. Strong
written and verbal communication skills. Physical Requirements
Regularly required to sit, use hands/fingers, and operate a
computer. Occasionally required to lift/move up to 40 lbs. Must
possess visual and auditory acuity for patient care and
computer-based work. Mobility to move throughout clinic sites and
travel between locations as needed. Working Conditions Primarily
indoors in a climate-controlled environment. OSHA Exposure Category
1: Routine exposure to blood, body fluids, or tissues. Standard
schedule of 40–45 hours per week; flexibility required for patient
