Registered Nurse (RN) | Emergency Room (ER) / Trauma Location: Shelby, MT Agency: AMN Healthcare Pay: $1,981 to $2,103 per week Shift Information: Rotating - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 2/23/2026 About the Position Job Description & Requirements Registered Nurse – Emergency Room - Travel - (ER RN) StartDate: 2/23/2026 Available Shifts: 12 D/E/N Pay Rate: $1981.00 - $2103.00 Facility: Logan Health - Shelby Shelby, MT Unit: Acute Care for Critical Access Hospital (CAH) Position Type: Registered Nurse - ER Shift Time Type: 12 Hour Hours Per Week: 36 Additional Info: Critical Access Hospital About Facility: Address: 640 Park Ave, Shelby, MT 59474 General Information: Beds: 21; staff are required to cover the floor and ED along with pre/post op patients Will you accept a traveler with 1-year experience? Depends Will you accept a first-time traveler? Depends on prior experience Patient Types: Swing bed – rehab patients; Pneumonia, COPD exacerbation, UTI, Weakness Patient Ratios: Depends Required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, TNCC (preferred), NRP (preferred), PALS (preferred) combined? Skills required: IV skills, chest tube setup, triage, wound care, splints/casting assistance, Support on the Unit: CNA (Ratio): CNA is also the HUC Receptionist/HUC: 1 Charge nurse: Depends on shift Phlebotomy: M-F, On Call after Hours IV/VAT Team: NO Resource Nurse: NO – call OR RN or DON for assistance RT: M-F in house from 0700-1500, no on call Hospitalist: Available 24/7 but not in house Telemetry monitoring: NO Technology/Equipment: EMR: Meditech IV pumps: Baxter Sigma Spectrum Medication dispensing: Pyxis Monitors: SpaceLabs (VS) Floating: If yes, where? NO Orientation (how many shifts): 2-3 Scheduling: Weekend rotation: Every other weekend? Typically, but can be two back to back and then two off Call? If so, what is that schedule? NO Holiday Expectations: As needed Approval of time off: Can we approve time off on your behalf, or would you like all requests sent to you? If dates are submitted prior to contract, Simplifi can manage. If needing time off during contract, I need to be apart of approval.
