We are seeking a Family Practice Physician Assistant for a 70-day locum tenens assignment in Montana, starting Feb 16, 2026. This full-time opportunity offers day shifts, Monday through Friday, 8:30am to 5:00pm, with a 30-minute unpaid lunch. Candidates with corrections experience are especially encouraged to apply. Job Details - Location: Montana - Start Date: Feb 16, 2026 - LOA: 70 days - Provider Type Needed: Family Practice Physician Assistant - Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:30am - 5:00pm Responsibilities and Duties - Conduct sick call and daily rounding - Manage chronic and preventative care procedures and follow-ups - Operate preventive care clinics - Perform chart reviews and lab renewals - Provide infirmary rounds for internal medicine cases as needed - Conduct trauma triage - Complete charting notes and medication refills - Handle PA/NP lines in the morning, including suture removal and follow-ups - Address medication non-compliance with patients - Manage minimal transgender population cases Additional Information - Montana state license required - Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required - Corrections experience is a plus Benefits - Strong compensation - Travel-related expenses covered - A-rated medical malpractice insurance provided - Dedicated recruiter for future travel opportunities What are Locum Tenens Jobs?
