Job Description Job Description Location: Great Falls, Montana Job Type: Full-Time | 3x12 Hour Shifts (11 AM – 11 PM, Some Weekends) Salary: $60,000 – $80,000 per year (based on experience) Subspecialty: Emergency Room Nurse (ER/ED) Key Responsibilities Provide comprehensive care to patients in the Emergency Department. Safely and accurately triage patients based on physical and psychosocial needs. Communicate patient status, symptoms, and test results to physicians and providers. Respond quickly and appropriately to changes in patient condition or treatment response . Collaborate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals. Provide guidance to ER techs, registration staff, and allied health personnel . Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation. Uphold all hospital policies, safety, and infection control standards. Education & Experience Graduate of an accredited nursing program (required). Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) and CEN certification (preferred). Minimum 2 years of Emergency Room nursing experience (required). Licenses & Certifications Current Montana State RN License (required). BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, and ENPC certifications (required or obtained within 6 months of hire). Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Strong understanding of Emergency Department nursing principles and procedures . Proficient with IV therapy , manual/electronic medical equipment, and computer systems. Excellent assessment, decision-making, and communication skills. Ability to perform effectively under pressure and in high-stress environments.
