CVICU Location: Great Falls, MT 59405 Job Type: Permanent Full-Time
Shift: All Shifts Available Salary Range: $65,000 – $90,000
annually Position Overview: The CVICU Registered Nurse provides
direct patient care to medical, surgical, and cardiovascular
patients requiring advanced monitoring and support.
Responsibilities include operating complex medical equipment such
as: Central lines Arterial lines (A-lines) Multiple IVs Cardiac
balloon pumps (e.g., Impella) Ventilators Continuous Renal
Replacement Therapy (CRRT) The RN will also care for general
medical and surgical patients within the inpatient unit. This role
includes clinical leadership, precepting new staff, and
coordinating care from admission through discharge. Collaboration
with providers, charge nurses, supervisors, and nursing leadership
is essential, along with directing support staff such as LPNs,
CNAs, housekeeping, and dietary personnel. Education & Experience
Requirements: Graduate of an accredited RN Nursing Program
(Required) 1–2 years of Cardiac Surgical ICU experience (Strongly
Preferred) Experience in advanced Medical/Surgical and Critical
Care Nursing (Required) Experience with Impella or other cardiac
balloon pumps and CRRT (Preferred) Licensure & Certifications:
Current Montana RN License (Required) BLS and ACLS Certifications
(Required) PALS Certification (To be completed within 6 months of
hire) EPNC and TNCC Certifications (Preferred) Skills & Abilities:
Proficient in advanced nursing principles and procedures Skilled in
operating advanced medical equipment including IV pumps, A-lines,
cardiac balloon pumps, chest tubes, ventilators, and CRRT systems
Strong assessment and policy implementation skills Effective
