NURSE Description of Position: Provides directpatient care to
medical/surgical/cardiovascular patients needing
advancedmonitoring. Required to operate advanced medical equipment
including use ofcentral lines including A-lines, multiple IV s
balloon pumps, Impella pumps, andpatients requiring Ventilation
Support, or Continuous Renal Replacement Therapy. As well as care
for general medical andsurgical patients on the in-patient unit.
Has ability to assess and implement establishedpolicies and
procedures with minimal supervision. Acts as a clinical leader
andassists with precepting staff. Provides direct care for patients
in theHospital from admission to discharge in all aspects of care
including dischargeplanning. Givesdirection to RN, LPN, CNA,
Housekeeping Staff, Dietary Staff. Receivesdirection from
Providers, Charge Nurse, Acute Care Director, Chief Nursing
Officer. It willing to take care of PCU and Med Surgical patients
