ID: 53287272 Shift: Days 0700 to 1900 Description: CVICU REGISTERED NURSE Description of Position: Provides directpatient care to medical/surgical/cardiovascular patients needing advancedmonitoring. Required to operate advanced medical equipment including use ofcentral lines including A-lines, multiple IV s balloon pumps, Impella pumps, andpatients requiring Ventilation Support, or Continuous Renal Replacement Therapy. As well as care for general medical andsurgical patients on the in-patient unit. Has ability to assess and implement establishedpolicies and procedures with minimal supervision. Acts as a clinical leader andassists with precepting staff. Provides direct care for patients in theHospital from admission to discharge in all aspects of care including dischargeplanning. Givesdirection to RN, LPN, CNA, Housekeeping Staff, Dietary Staff. Receivesdirection from Providers, Charge Nurse, Acute Care Director, Chief Nursing Officer.
