Locums About the Facility A 54,000 square foot cancer treatment
facility is seeking a Hematologist/Oncologist for locum tenens
coverage. About the Facility Location Great Falls is well-known for
its breathtaking waterfalls, which make it a stunning place to be
on assignment. It is also one of Montana's best cities, with plenty
to see and do in your time off! About the Clinician's Workday This
oncology position offers a Monday through Friday schedule from 8:00
AM to 5:00 PM and includes weekday call responsibilities, with a
weekend call or onsite ratio of 1:5. The role is not a solo
position and is supported by a comprehensive team including 3
medical oncologists, 2 radiation oncologists, 2 oncology APPs,
therapists, nursing staff, and specialists in dosimetry, physics,
clinical supervision, nurse navigation, social work, genetic
counseling, clinical research, and financial advocacy. The setting
includes both outpatient and some inpatient care. Patient volume
includes 02 new consults per day, 1518 follow-ups daily, 05
inpatient follow-ups per day, and 02 new inpatient consults weekly.
The practice uses Epic as its EMR system. Additional Job Details -
Case Load/PPD: 0-2 new consults a day, 15-20 follow ups a day, 0-5
inpt follow ups a day , 0-2 new inpt consults a week - Support
Staff: 3 medical oncologists, 2 radiation oncologists, 2 oncology
support APPs, a dosimetrist, a physicist, therapists, nursing, 2
clin - Patient Population: Adults - Call Ratio/Schedule: 1:5 -
