Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: CVICU - Discipline: RN - Start Date: ASAP - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel RN Position Job Notes: /n/n Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2 years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available. /n/n Opportunity: /n RN - CVICU /n/n Job Details: /n • Provide direct patient care to medical/surgical/cardiovascular patients requiring advanced monitoring /n• Operate advanced medical equipment including central lines, A-lines, multiple IVs, balloon pumps, and Impella pumps /n• Care for patients requiring ventilation support or continuous renal replacement therapy /n• Provide care for general medical and surgical patients on the in-patient unit /n• Assess and implement established policies and procedures with minimal supervision /n• Act as clinical leader and assist with precepting staff /n• Provide direct patient care from admission to discharge including discharge planning /n• Give direction to RN, LPN, CNA, housekeeping staff, and dietary staff /n• Receive direction from providers, charge nurse, acute care director, and chief nursing officer /n• Willing to care for PCU and medical surgical patients when no ICU/CVICU patients are in house /n• Position classified as rapid response crisis staffing need /n/n Facility: /n This medical center is a comprehensive healthcare facility providing advanced cardiovascular and critical care services to the community.
