Job Description Orthopedic Trauma Surgeon Opportunity in Great Falls, MontanaPosition Details:Opportunity for a full-time orthopedic trauma surgeon to join our current orthopedic trauma team (1 MD, 2 APPs) offering full spectrum orthopedic trauma services at one locationStable, long term orthopedic group includes trauma, total joint revisionists, spine, shoulder, sports med, hand and generalists, mid-level support if desired10 main ORs onsite ASC, 2 Davinci robots with O-arm and Hana table33 bed emergency department with 3 large trauma bays, CT scan staffed 24/7 and 2 board-certified ER physicians on shift at all hoursIn house air ambulance program with fixed wing and rotor wing for inbound and outbound transportDedicated ICU intensivists 24/7 in 21 bed mixed-ICURobust hospitalist team, including swing and night shift admittersGeneral Schedule:2-week repetitive rotation - Week one inpatient trauma duties - 5-day work week M-F - 24-hour orthopedic call M/W - Day call (7a-4p) Tu/Th/F - Rounding, consults, and dedicated trauma block time every day starting at 12 pm - Experienced ortho trauma PA is on call with you during call weeks - Week two clinic week / elective surgeries - 4-day work week - No call, flexible schedule - Dedicated OR block timeWeekend call obligation is shared with all general orthopedic surgeons, 4:00 pm Friday 7:00 am Monday, 1:7 weekendsCompensation and Benefits:Nationally competitive compensation structures with guaranteed salaries productivity and performance bonuses8 weeks paid time off (6 PTO, 2 CME)Generous sign-on / relocation bonusAnnual $5,000 CME $1,000 license/dues5-7% retirement match 457b programPaid malpractice tailPhysician wellness programs focused on personal and professional developmentMonthly meetings with highest-level physician and administrative leadership to bring ideas forward and solve issuesCommunity Information:Great Falls is known as Montana's base camp for art and adventure with a city population of 60,000, and a draw of over 275,000 people in north central Montana.
