Job Title: Critical Access Hospital RN Profession: Nursing Specialty: Critical Access Hospital RN Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 6am to 6:30pm Hours per Shift: 36 Experience: Minimum 3 years License: Current RN license required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS required; TNCC preferred Must-Have: Experienced in ER and acute care; able to triage in ER; team player Description: Small rural Critical Access Hospital offers a welcoming atmosphere. The area is known for its mineralized hot springs and outdoor activities. Opportunities for fishing, hunting, hiking, and camping are abundant. Winter recreation includes nearby skiing and snowmobiling. The community allows for easy day trips to surrounding areas. We are seeking an experienced RN capable of working in both ER and acute care. The role includes oversight of CNAs and other nursing staff. Collaboration and support among team members are essential. The position requires assistance with long-term care tasks, including rounding and toileting. Each shift is staffed with one RN, one LPN, and one CNA. ER census is very low, typically 1-2 patients per shift. Hospital census is also low, with 1-2 inpatients. Holiday coverage is required.
