• Apply biopsychosocial evaluations to propose behavioral health interventions.
• Provide evidence-based treatment, including behavioral, cognitive, and motivational approaches.
• Communicate regularly and clearly with primary care providers and staff regarding patient status, including recommendations for team-based care.
• Implement psychoeducational classes targeting common diagnoses in the primary care setting.
• Document patient encounters in the electronic health record.Performs other duties as assigned.QualificationsWho May Apply: US CitizensApplicants must meet education and experience requirements, including relevant volunteer work. A clear resume describing relevant experience is required; transcripts are necessary if qualifying through education.Basic Requirement for Clinical Psychologist: Doctoral Degree (PhD or equivalent) in clinical psychology.Specialized Experience: One year of experience performing psychological evaluations, developing behavioral health treatment plans, and providing psychological counseling, equivalent to GS-12 level in federal service.License: Must hold a current, active, unrestricted clinical license to practice psychology in the U.S. and provide proof with the application.EducationForeign education must be evaluated for U.S. equivalency by a recognized organization.
