Orthopedic Physician Assistant
Benefis Health System, a large level II Trauma Center in Great Falls, Montana, is seeking an Orthopedic Physician Assistant to work alongside a Sports trained Orthopedic Surgeon, to provide clinic, operating room and follow up support.
Details:

• 
  
• Full time - clinic is open and staffed Monday Friday from 7:00 am 5:00 pm, minimal weekend and call requirements
  
• Working days are a combination of seeing new patients and follow ups in clinic, first assisting in the OR, and rounding on inpatient post op and follow ups, maintaining close communication with the orthopedic physician partner
  
• Additional responsibilities included evaluating and treating general orthopedic injuries, fracture care, performing joint aspirations and injections, consultation and patient evaluation and education and reviewing lab results in a clinic setting.
  
• Surgeries are performed in the main operating room, located across a skybridge from the main clinic, and in an ambulatory surgery center, located on the same floor as the clinic.
  
• Orthopedic team of 8 orthopedic surgeons, 3 surgical advanced practice providers, 3 same day injury advanced practice providers, an occupational medicine advanced practice provider, and a non-operative Sports Medicine physician.
