Assesses, plans, implements, directs, and evaluates patient care activities while providing conscious sedation. Assists physician during diagnostic and therapeutic procedures. Receives direction from: Provider, Nurse Coordinator, Clinical Nurse Manager, Executive Director of Ancillary Services.

Compensation and Benefits for the Registered Nurse - Conscious Sedation:

The starting salary for this position is $60,000.00 to $90,000.00 per year.
Permanent full-time job. Monday - Friday, 8:00AM - 5:00PM
Benefits are Competitive and Negotiable

Requirements of the Registered Nurse - Conscious Sedation:

Degree from Nursing Program.
Med-Surgical Nursing experience.
Interventional Radiology RN experience, preferred.
Critical Care Nursing experience, preferred.
Current MT RN license, required.
BLS, PALS, and ACLS, required.
CSRN, preferred.
Minimum of 1 year experience required.

Responsibilities of the Registered Nurse - Conscious Sedation:

Assesses, plans, implements, directs, and evaluates patient care activities while providing conscious sedation.
Assists physician during diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
Possesses and maintains the ability to competently and safely administer IV conscious sedation and to anticipate and recognize potential complications and emergency situations, and to institute emergency procedures.
Receives direction from: Provider, Nurse Coordinator, Clinical Nurse Manager, Executive Director of Ancillary Services.
